I got an email that H&M were having their grand opening on October 29 at noon. They said that there were free giveaways and special offers for the first 100 shoppers and that the first 100 shoppers in line before the grand opening will receive an H&M Access to Fashion Pass with a random value of $10, $25, $50, $75 or $100.
Trina, Eulla and I went in line by 10:15am. We were told that some people were there as early as 3am! Guesstimating, I was about the 70th person in line. I got lucky and got a $75 card! We got a bunch of freebies including a FREE t-shirt! Eulla was able to get an H&M memory game. This is the first time ever I lined up for a store opening. Thank you Trina for encouraging me to go! It was so worth it and of course, we had so much fun.

9th Month Well baby check up & Flu shot
Head Circumference: 17 1/4"
Tia was also scheduled for blood works. It was the most painful thing to watch so Daddy had to hold her. I wanted to tell the phlebotomist to stop but I knew it had to be done. Booohooo!
Eulla was also scheduled to get her seasonal flu shot. Eulla was brave and did not cry at all!

Independent Little Lady
Tia just turned 9 months 11 days ago and she has shown us lots of new tricks up her sleeves! Today, I heard her tiny voice. She was awake by 7:30am in her room so I went to take a peek and I saw her in a sitting position with her hands on the rails of her crib. She was able to pull herself up in 5 seconds. That means she is now able to sit on her own from a lying position. We have to lower the mattress down on her crib by tonight.
After waking up from her nap this afternoon, I put her on the pink jeep walker and gave her snack from there. I just took out the steering wheel and put her Gerber snack and her Avent bottle with water. I was going to feed her while she watched her favorite Blue's Clues show but she brushed off my hand and grabbed a few pieces of her snack. Here are some pictures of Tia eating on her own. My little baby girl is being independent.
A few pieces on her right hand while she uses her left hand to put one in her mouth.
and after a few pieces, she grabbed her bottle and drank her water. What a trooper!

Tia turned 9 months today. We celebrated at Filmore. It was Tia's first "real" train ride. We got Tia a new toy for her monthsary. It is a Fisher Price Stride to Ride Lion. It will help her learn to balance herself and walk with guidance.
Tia has been eating baby yogurt for almost 2 weeks now. She loves the strawberry, berries and peach flavor. She has been eating the stage 2 Gerber solid food. Her favorite is the organic green peas. I still breastfeed Tia. I plan to till she turns one year old. It was suggested by her pediatrician so that her skin allergies may go away. She has been trying to crawl but it is more like rolling. She has been saying Mama to get my attention. She likes to babble. She knows it makes us all happy when she does it. She knows how to clap her hands when asked (For 2 months now). She also knows how to play "close~open" which she learned in one day when we left her at her grandparents house for 3 hours.
Happy 9th Monthsary TIA!

Grandparents Day at LSLC
Today was Grandparent's Day at Little Shepherd. Lolo and Mommy Perla attended with Eulla. Eulla introduced her grandparents to her teachers and showed her around her school. She was so proud to introduce them to everyone. We were told that she talks about them all the time!
